Right now I'll tell you I wasn't 6% bodyfat Saturday morning. My digital caliper actually read 5.7%. Ummmm, sorry to burst my own bubble, but no. I certainly lost fat from last week, but not THAT much. My weight went down and my bodyfat went down after INCREASING my calories, yeah you read that right. Since I upped my carbs to 150g and my calories to about 2500, my metabolism went up and my weight went down. I didn't do extra cardio or anything. My temp reading came out to be about 97.5 degrees F the entire week, so that's good. I'd still like to get it up to 98 though.
After having a cheat weekend, I gained back some weight and it helped give my metabolism an extra spark. No more cheat meals for me until early August, which is my birthday. It'll be clean refeed days for the next few weeks, which will help me get below 210 I believe.
For Week 21, I'm going to continue with the 150g carbs/day on weight days, but probably lower it to about 100g carbs/day on cardio only days. I'll of course re-evalute next to see where I'm at, but as long as my temperature/metabolism is up, I won't be shy about dropping calories and/or adding a little extra cardio if my fat loss stalls.
I also got some Jan Tana fake tan cream, so I may apply that to help bring out some definition. My sodium and water intake is really high, so I'm still smooth and puffy at times, but think a tan would help me look a little sharper.
I made some slight changes to my nutrition, so here's my updated spreadsheet: DietWeek21-Refeed.xlsx (39.23 kb)
I'm thinking I'll keep training hard for about another month and then take a couple weeks off to rest my body, mind, and metabolism and work on my site further. I'm already way behind my getting ripped schedule, but might as well keep sweatin it out as long as I don't feel too worn down and see progress from week to week.
